What your client sees

  1. Their technician, or no preference

    Clients can book with someone they know or see every open time with the salon team. Turn requests off and everyone books with no preference.

  2. The party, counted up front

    Up to five people book online in one visit. For a bigger group, the page asks the client to call the salon.

  3. Your real menu, with prices and times

    The services, prices and durations you already set in Aura, grouped the way you group them. A party of two can book two of the same service.

  4. Only times that are actually open

    Before it shows a time, Aura checks the technician’s hours, time off and appointments, and your lead time. Mia’s first open time today is 3:30.

  5. Review, then confirm

    A name and phone number are the only details asked for. The client checks the appointment, adds a note if they like, and can agree to appointment texts from the salon before confirming.

Online booking works inside the limits you set

Hours
Business hours, each technician’s hours and time off, holidays and special hours.
Lead time
How far ahead clients must book, set separately for requests and Anyone, plus a buffer around requested appointments.
Requests
Turn technician requests off and clients can still book Anyone.
On or off
Turn online booking off and the page tells clients it’s unavailable.
One link per location
Each location has its own booking page.

Straight into your appointment book

The booking appears in the technician’s column as an online request. Aura can text the client a confirmation with a link to confirm, and a reminder a day before; both are salon settings.

Does each salon location get its own booking page?

Yes. Published locations use their own booking address and salon-managed location information.

Can the salon control how soon clients may book?

Yes. Aura supports configurable lead times and scheduling buffers for available booking paths.

Can online booking be turned off?

Yes. A salon can disable online booking while retaining its location information and internal appointment workflow.

Do clients need an app or an account?

No. They book from your salon’s booking page with a name and phone number.

Can clients cancel or reschedule online?

No. To change a booking, clients call the salon. The confirmation text links to a page where they can confirm the appointment.
